The chestpiece and binaurals on most models are machined from surgical stainless steel for rugged durability. Custom molded PVC tubing with internal reinforcing yoke remains supple and flexible. Non-chill ring and diaphragm retaining rim provide patient comfort. ADSOFT™ PVC eartips with threaded inserts provide the ultimate in wearing comfort and acoustic seal. Available in 7 styles - Convertible Cardiology, Cardiology, Adult, Pediatric, Infant, ADSCOPE-Lite™, and Amplifying in a variety of colors to suit personal taste. SELECTION OF THE CHESTPIECE
On ADC® ADSCOPE™ combination stethoscopes you can select either the diaphragm for high frequency sounds, or the open bell for low frequency response. To select a side, hold the chestpiece valve stem in one hand and rotate the chestpiece 180° with the other hand until it “clicks” into place. The stem has a light bend which indicates the activated side. Or, with the eartips in the ear, first tap lightly on one side, then the other, to determine which chestpiece side is in operation.
LIMITED WARRANTY
American Diagnostic Corporation (ADC®) warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
and service as follows:
1. Warranty service extends to the original retail purchaser only and commences with the date of delivery.
2. Your ADSCOPE™ stethoscope is warranted for one year from date of purchase (all parts).
3. Your ADSCOPE™ chestpiece, binaurals, and binaural spring (metal parts only) are warranted for life. (#609 warranted for 5 years).
