The Mayfield 2000 series radiolucent headrest system provides rigid skeletal fixation for procedures involving intraoperative digital subtraction angiography. This system is comprised of the Mayfield 2000 series radiolucent skull clamp and the Mayfield radiolucent base unit. The Mayfield radiolucent base unit is designed for patient positioning in the prone or supine positions and serves as the mounting device for the Mayfield 2000 radiolucent skull clamp.
