The Bremer HIFix™ Halo Skull Pin is the first skull pin to utilize cutting edges instead of a sharp, nail like, tip. Instead of crushing its way into bone the HIFix pin drills a neat path leaving the bone strong and viable providing improved initial fixation over standard skull pins. The HIFix pin is used in the Bremer HALO CROWN® System with HIFix pins (#s HT025HI and HT026HI) and in the Bremer 3D HALO CROWN® System. HIFix pins are used for the same indications as standard skull pins except pediatric.
