The QuickVue® iFOB immunochemical device is intended for the qualitative detection of fecal occult blood. Designed to be more sensitive than traditional guaiac-based methods, it has no dietary restrictions and requires only one specimen collection from the patient. It offers hHb analytical sensitivity of 50ng/mL buffer or 50/g feces, specific to human hemoglobin. The specimen collection tube doubles as convenient/sanitary dispenser.
